Insurance Collection Executives, "ICE", is an industry organization dedicated to supporting the insurance collection professional. While the organization's roots date back more than 40 years, ICE addresses the many challenges faced by today's insurance collection professionals. At the core of the organization is a Board of Directors comprised of committed industry executives, who, like you, recognize the tremendous benefit of this unique industry affiliation.

Benchmarking Committee

The Benchmarking Committee is committed to bringing ICE members relevant and timely industry information in support of the overall ICE Mission:

"To provide a forum that allows a diverse group of insurance collection professionals to share ideas, new technologies, innovative processes and common challenges."

Information gathering will take place through many channels including members surveys, open forums, topical roundtable discussions, and Benchmarking's "Question of The Month". The information is made readily available to the membership via the ICE website.

Goals for 2017
  • Industry Surveys: Issue (2) surveys to the ICE membership in April and August timeframes. The Financial Results survey is slated for April and the Recovery (Collection) Results is expected in August. An executive summary report will be generated and results will be posted for the membership.
  • Membership ‘Question of the Month’: Generate a (QOTM) based on ICE Membership ideas and questions, and communicate the YTD summary of the questions asked throughout year with results for The Cube. In addition, the committee will build a better process to retrieve past QOTM results, this initiative is to review and improve our current indexing. Questions will be tailored for Commercial and Personal Lines.
  • Benchmarking News Articles: The Benchmarking Committee will prepare (2) articles for the quarterly newsletter ‘The Cube’. There articles may be focused on recent QOTM questions and results, virtual roundtable session or industry topics or trends. These articles are scheduled for the summer and fall releases of The Cube.
  • Benchmarking Virtual Roundtable: Host (2) virtual roundtable discussions in the April and September timeframes. In April, there will be a co-hosted session with AMEX on Credit Card Payment Trends and Customer Experience. In June, the session will focus on Pay As You Go WC – Payroll Billing. Optional Topic: Agency Bill
  • Conference Breakout Sessions/Planning Support: The Benchmarking Committee will support the planning committee on preparing and hosting roundtables at the annual conference
  • Conference Membership Session hosted by Benchmarking Committee: Identify critical industry trends and develop ‘live’ survey questions for our membership and facilitate discussion based on results for Commercial and Personal Iines.
